Improving Health Risks for Patients with Chronic Kidney Disease

This study is investigating whether people with CKD (slightly reduced functioning kidneys) benefit from taking aspirin on a daily basis.

There is clear research evidence to suggest that aspirin can reduce the risk of heart attacks and strokes in people with CKD. But, taking aspirin can bring a small risk of bleeding from the stomach.

This study is seeking to understand what the safest and best option is for people with CKD - to take aspirin or not. If you have slightly reduced kidney function you may be invited by our research team to take part.

Here is a link to a video about the study.
