Retirement of Dr Kevin Douglas

Submitted by jo on Tue, 12/08/2020 - 13:33

Dr Kevin Douglas will be retiring from the Practice on 31st December after 28 years as a Partner at Claremont.  We are of course sorry to see him go but wish him all the best for the future.

A message from Kevin - it’s been a pleasure being a doctor at Claremont for the past 28 years. I have been very lucky to have such a delightful group of patients. People are often going through tough times when they come to the doctor; it has been a privilege to be in a position to try and help. Likewise I have worked with an amazing group of people. The office staff, doctors and nurses at Claremont are an incredibly hard working team with a great sense of fun that’s made coming to work so enjoyable.

I will miss all of you.

We will be taking the opportunity to rationalise our individual patient lists. In the meantime the care of Kevin’s patients will be shared between the other GPs in the practice.  We will advise his patients of their new named GP as soon as possible as we appreciate that changing Doctors can be unsettling.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused, and be assured that we continue to be committed to providing the best possible service for our patients.
