Join Dementia Research (JDR)

Join Dementia Research (JDR) is a national project aiming to improve dementia care by increasing the number of people involved in dementia research. People of any health and age are welcome to sign up: Join Dementia Research.

A study for patients with new joint symptoms or family members of patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA).

Rheumatoid arthritis is associated with markers in the blood such as anti-CCP antibodies. It is hoped that testing for this will prove to be a more accurate method of identifying early rheumatoid arthritis. It is well proven that the earlier rheumatoid is identified, the better the treatments for it work. So if you have aches and pains, sore joints or muscles please contact the surgery and we will book you an appointment with our research nurse.
